What you get
Spec drafts, product betas, and pre-release datasets before the public — with context on the design decisions so your content goes deeper than the changelog.
A private channel with the engineers and researchers behind the work. Ask the spec author, not the docs.
Up to $10k per event for meetups, workshops, and production costs — plus swag that people actually keep.
We route conference CFP opportunities and co-speaking slots at our own events to ambassadors first.
Ambassador content is featured in our newsletter and registry entries. Your name attaches to the ecosystem you're building.
A yearly ambassador on-site with the research team — roadmap deep dives, spec working sessions, and the arguments that don't fit in a channel.
How it works
Show us what you've already made — talks, posts, videos, course material, open source. Passion counts; a track record counts more.
New ambassadors get a guided tour of the protocol family and product internals from the people who built them.
Run workshops, write deep dives, build examples — your format, your voice. We ask for two substantial contributions per quarter.
The program renews each year based on activity. Alumni keep community access for good.
What we look for
Common questions
It's not employment — it's a supported community role with an event budget, access, and recognition. Ambassadors keep full ownership of their content and any revenue from it.
Yes, and please do. Ambassadors who only publish praise are less useful to their communities and to us. We ask for accuracy, not cheerleading.
Build a small public track record first — even three solid posts or one good talk. Apply when there's work to point at; we keep applications open year-round.
We add a small number each quarter — the direct research channel only works if it stays small enough for real conversations.
